  Find an MDT Clinician

Numerous published studies report that only practitioners who are Credentialled or Diplomaed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), often referred to as “McKenzie” training, are able to reliably identify those with and without rapidly reversible low back pain. That basic determination is critical to the quality of each individual’s care.

To identify clinician(s) in your community with the highest quality of MDT training, go to The McKenzie Institute’s website (www.mckenziemdt.org) and locate the listing of MDT Credentialed (CrMDT) and Diplomaed (DipMDT) clinicians in your area.

If no one is listed for your area, call and inquire at various local clinics as to which physical therapists or chiropractors have completed some or all of the McKenzie Institute courses (there are five) and are working toward taking the MDT Credentialling exam. Let them also know that you are hoping they will complete their full training.
