SelfCare First's mission is empower individuals by teaching
them how to bring about their own recovery while substantially reducing the cost
of care for most back and neck pain.
Regarding back and neck pain, these are both very achievable
goals because:
- most back and neck pain is rapidly reversible. This includes most disc problems,
sciatica, and a large percentage of chronic pain.
- a special form of clinical
assessment is available that can identify those with and without rapidly reversible
conditions. This enables most individuals to quickly and easily recover usually
using mechanical self-care strategies.
